This mixed-use building in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn provides affordable and environmentally sensitive housing for a community which the nonprofit developer, has served for over 40 years. The building also includes flexible ground floor retail space which helps support the work of the Grand Street Business Improvement District. 

The residential entrance is separate from the retail and sheltered by a contemporary glass and steel canopy. At the second floor level, a generous landscaped rear terrace serves as a visual and programmatic centerpiece for the housing.
