Middlecrest Crossing is an affordable 200-unit senior housing development located outside of Middletown, New York. The two phase, two and three story linked buildings that make up this development have site amenities including a pond, courtyards with seating areas, walkways, and outdoor parking. The character of the complex is in harmony with the surrounding community. The townhouses relate to the neighboring gabled structures and create a feeling of a home in lieu of an apartment.

The ground floor contains an entrance with reception and waiting area for visitors. In addition, there is a multipurpose room with a kitchen and lounge for social gatherings. Other amenities include a recreation room, exercise room and laundry facilities. The ground floor apartments feature sliding doors that open onto outdoor patios. The second floor balconies allow for scenic viewing of the wooded landscape. Each cluster has its own community facility for social activities to bring seniors together.

Geared toward moderate income elderly, this project is partially funded by a grant from New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal.
