Glenmore Grove is a new, 12-unit, ‘green,’ energy-efficient condominium development in Brooklyn, New York. The modern design features grouped entrances with a playful mixture of brick, stone and corrugated metal accents. Each of the four individual buildings stand three and a half stories high, with a floor-through condo unit on each floor.
The traditional, flat row house facade is articulated with projected, 2-story bays, as well as a 4th Floor setback. These setbacks, in addition to the rear façade will introduce a contrasting corrugated material to the traditional brick exteriors. The projected bays also feature very large, double glazed windows.
The front of each building is set back from Glenmore Avenue in order to provide for greenery and planted areas. These yards are enclosed by decorative metal gates. First floor, 2-bedroom, 1½ bath units also have access to a private, landscaped rear yard. While the third floor, 3-bedroom, 2 bath duplex units feature partially paved roof garden on the setbacks, as well as a green roof terrace on the fourth floor level. The second story of each building contains a 2-bedroom, 1½ bath unit.
