Affordable Housing Finance

Fernando Villa has been named principal and director of design at Magnusson Architecture and Planning (MAP) in New York City.

Villa has two decades of experience in all types of residential projects and is a staunch advocate for sustainability, particularly for affordable housing. His recent housing developments include Creston Avenue Residence in the Bronx and 22 Tarrytown Road Workforce Housing in Greenburgh, N.Y.

“As principal, he will continue to apply his talents to all types of housing—including affordable, market-rate, senior, supportive, and others—and raise the bar for innovative architecture,” says Magnus Magnusson, founding principal of the firm.
