Courtlandt Homes is a townhouse development comprised of 6 two-family and 6 three-family homes located in the Melrose Commons Urban Renewal Area in the Bronx. The first market-rate homes to be built in the area, Courtlandt Homes was developed through NYC HPD’s New Foundations program, with sponsorship from the community organization Nos Quedamos.
All townhouses in the development are three story brick structures. The 3-family townhouses have a duplex 3-bedroom owners unit on the first and second floors, a 1-bedroom unit on the second floor, and a floor-through 2-bedroom unit on the third floor. Parking for the three-family townhouses is located at the rear of the homes in a ‘group’ parking area. The 2-family townhouses have a duplex 3-bedroom owners unit located on the first and second floors, and a 2-bedroom floor-through unit on the third floor. Parking is located in a garage at grade on the first floor of each home.
