The New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) has a substantial affordable housing financing program to create rental housing for families earning up to 60% of the average median income (AMI). Nos Quedamos, in partnership with development partners L+M Equities and Melrose Associates have developed four projects under the DHCR program, all of which were competitive applications for funding.
Palacio del Sol – a 124 apartment unit building with a large supermarket on the ground level. Palacio also houses the new offices for Nos Quedamos.
Parkview I and II – these are separate housing development of 110 apartments and 88 apartments respectively on adjoining lots. Designed to complement each other, they use similar materials and details to tie them together, along with Parkview III – a townhouse development – all part of the same master plan block bounded by 160th and 161st Streets and Melrose and Elton Avenues.
500 East 165th Street – although just outside the URA is a project sponsored by Nos Quedamos and the same development team as the other DHCR developments. This project has 128 units and retail along Third Avenue.
